Janes Architectural are an established, award winning, practice with over 30 year’s experience and a passion for stunning architectural design. Their forte is the design and delivery of Prime and Super Prime residential projects for private clients that are seeking to create a unique dream home to an exceptional standard.
”As a business we tend to specialise in high end residential projects for private clients and have worked closely with Meer End on many of these projects since around 2008.
We have a great working relationship with the team at Meer End, and we will often involve them at the detailed design stage of the project to finalise designs and agree costs of the specialist joinery elements up front. In addition, we will often introduce our clients to the company during the design stage so they can visit the workshop and discuss any specific requirements directly.
Over the years, they have supplied various specialist staircases including traditional, contemporary, Helical, Straight and with returns and various landing configurations. Many of the flights have had challenging configurations with continuous raking and curving handrail and guarding. In addition to the staircases, Meer End have assisted with the design and supply of internal and external doors and door sets, door linings along with bespoke skirting and architrave sets. They have also supplied and fitted large section oak window sub frames, timber flooring, and various fitted furniture including wardrobes / dressing rooms, bookcases.
All items have been produced in line with the quoted costs and required timing and the quality of the fitted product has been outstanding. Where ongoing maintenance or repairs are required during the life of the product, they have been more than happy to stand on and help resolve any issues promptly.
I can have no hesitation in recommending Meer End for the design, supply and installation of both specialist staircases and bespoke joinery products.

I wanted to reiterate my thanks and also send an additional than you on behalf of St Mary's Parochial Church Council for your generous donation of the beautifully crafted noticeboard.
There have been many favourable comments brought to my attention and, I include this qute from an email I recently received: "A new church noticeboard has been erected next to the Breadwalk. I must say that it looks absolutely wonderful. It looks to be excellently constructed and I commend the joiners. It really enhances the approaches to St Mary's and is everything we could have hoped for." David Warren, Chairman of the Friends of Temple Balsall.
We recognise that you have fitted this work in amongst your other commissions and have given it some priority to enable us to receive your gift during this special 350 Anniversary Year of the Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson. How wonderful you are! Please pass on our gratitude to each member of your team who had a part to play rom design to fitting.
